Accelsius
Accelsius is an American developer of two-phase liquid cooling for AI servers, founded in 2022 in Austin. Its NeuCool system delivers dielectric fluid to the processor, which boils directly on the chip and removes heat without water inside the server: in 2025 tests, 4.5 kW was removed from a single GPU connector, and the B200 operates 9 °C cooler than with factory water cooling. Systems are installed at Equinix, EdgeConneX, Computacenter, Global Switch, and Nordik; in the first half of 2025, the number of deployments grew fivefold. A Series B for $65 million led by Johnson Controls with participation from Legrand took place at a valuation of $665 million, with a total of approximately $89 million raised.
Key highlights
Where Accelsius stands today across technology, financials and market traction.
Equinix: showcase for tenants.
In July 2025, Accelsius announced the installation of a NeuCool rack at the DC15 site in Ashburn. The largest data center operator shows the system to its tenants, and each such showing acts as a sales channel.
DarkNX: The largest order landed.
In November 2025, the company announced deliveries to a 300 MW AI data center campus in Ontario, but in August 2026, this order dropped from the portfolio, and Innventure withdrew its revenue forecast for 2026. This is the main risk of the story.
EdgeConneX: staff training.
A data center operator from EQT's portfolio installed IR150 in its training center in Houston — the first commercial installation of its kind. Through trained personnel, the system will be rolled out to the operator's other sites.
