About Anduril Industries

Developer of autonomous defense systems, drones, and the Lattice software platform for military use. In May 2026 the company raised about $5B led by Thrive Capital and Andreessen Horowitz, doubling its valuation to about $61B less than a year after a Series G round at $30.5B.

Anduril Industries is a new kind of American defense contractor: it develops drones, underwater vehicles, cruise missiles, and surveillance towers with its own money, ties them together with the Lattice software platform, and sells them finished at a fixed price instead of the industry's cost-plus model. Founded in 2017 in Costa Mesa, California. More than 60% of revenue goes into R&D, against low single digits at traditional contractors. Revenue grew from $1.0B in 2024 to $2.2B. The current $61B valuation was set by a $5B Series H in May 2026; roughly $11B has been raised in total.

Key highlights

  1. The repricing is happening right now and is outrunning the rounds. In June 2025 the company was worth $30.5B, in May 2026 $61B, and by July talks were already under way at roughly $100B.
  2. Programs have moved from competitions into series production. June 2026 brought a serial Air Force contract for Fury; July brought the program's first-ever combat missile launch from a drone and the first production Fury off the Arsenal-1 line.
  3. The money is arriving in exactly the budget line where the company operates. The draft 2027 US defense budget allocates more than $70B to drones and counter-drone systems, against $16.5B a year earlier, while the entire Pentagon budget grows from $850B to $1T.
  4. International expansion began with factories, not deliveries. In two months the company opened a Barracuda line in Poland with PGZ, entered the Israeli market, reached an agreement with Embraer in Brazil, and is already manufacturing in Sydney.
  5. The company is in no hurry to list — and that works in a private investor's favor. In July 2026 the CEO said that going public "in the middle of the hype cycle" is a bad idea.
